We have an exciting opportunity to join our Network Control department as a Project Manager on a month contract.

While in this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations and safety of the project. You must excel in overseeing the six aspects of a project: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources. Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, and conflict management are crucial.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating tender submissions for best value and leading contract negotiations with the support of our commercial team.
  • Managing capital financials to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Effectively overseeing framework suppliers and service providers for capital work streams on major construction projects.
  • Ensuring projects meet CDM standards and adhere to high H&S compliance.
  • Driving project plans and milestone delivery by addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with the Potable Tank Team to coordinate and manage various work streams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Ideally, you will be degree-qualified or have relevant industry experience in Project and Programme Delivery. You should be an innovative Project Manager capable of handling multiple capital engineering and construction projects. Experience in managing NEC projects and proficient cost planning and management are essential.

You should have knowledge of managing construction projects and compliance with CDM standards.
