Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Recruitment Bunker. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full vehicle projects within the automotive sector, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the delivery of full vehicle projects, including cost, quality, timing, and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor a team of project engineers to ensure project delivery within their control.
- Support marketing and sales teams to explore new opportunities and construct budgets for aftermarket products.
- Ensure all projects have purchase order coverage for the correct value as per the company budget and negotiations.
- Manage, monitor, and control the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and gateway requirements.
- Liaise with core engineering management to set expectations, review objectives, and ensure appropriate deployment of project resources.
- Report weekly and at monthly governance reviews the project team's performance in management meetings.
- Demonstrate leadership within project teams through strong communication and governance.
- Interface with associated customers to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered as per agreed budgets.
- Provide daily motivation and a positive outlook for team members.
- Ensure team upholds company quality accreditation and other specific systems.
- Uphold company core values.
- Project delivery timing.
- Project delivery cost vs. budget - profitability.
- Company NPI and metrics (project gateway, issues management, DVP completion, CAD completion, release management, etc.).
- Customer satisfaction.

- Team efficiency - actual hours vs. invoiced hours.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
- Relevant and proven experience of successfully delivering a full vehicle programme through to launch, in the role of a project/programme manager within a fast-paced, forward-thinking automotive company or similar environment.
- Significant project management experience and use of project management systems.
- Ability to interface with senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on both operational and statistical levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexible attitude and ability to manage one's own time and prioritise workload accordingly.
- Full driving license as travel will be required as part of the role.
- Confident approach to team interaction.
- Show leadership and directional skills within own subject area.
- Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
