Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

  • This role is to be the '
-
go to person' for the team, someone who can support them, and and the service leader too. We need you to be a person who is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. One who is able to work independently sometimes, and with the teams who are based across four different services as well. The role will include supporting people with personal care and to mobilise using their wheelchairs, to integrate into the community and enjoy other like-minded people's companionship

  • The people we support enjoy trips out, and going for lunch at cafés too Some also attend regular clubs, the list of activities is vast
  • We need a staff team who can support with
-
all forms of transport; we have our own mobility vehicle but the people we support also enjoy using their bus passes, taking the train or using a taxi. We need someone who can confidently support them to manage physical and mental health and can support at physio sessions in a hydro pool too.

You'll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills, as you support people who share your interests to do the things, they love the most.
