Working within a lively atmosphere as part of a passionate team this role as a Service Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.

Do you enjoy helping people and providing a great service?


This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

There will also be regular weekend work for this role (to be discussed at interview).

What it's like to work here:Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters is a world famous tourist location. During the Summer season we see thousands of visitors each week.

You will be part of the Welcome team, maintaining standards across the site as well as engaging with our visitors.

You will meet people from all walks of life.

What you'll be doing:

As the Service Assistant it's your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience.

In this role, you'll be b ased within the South Downs East Portfolio, based at Birling Gap, you may also support Alfriston Clergy House, Monks House and Devils Dyke (You'll need access to transport to travel to these locations) working alongside staff and volunteers in delivering outstanding customer service across all of these locations

You'll be part of the Welcome Team, providing information and orientation as well as a great goodbye.

You'll be operating outdoors supporting the maintenance of the site including the facilities.


You'll be promoting events, offers, products and benefits of actively supporting in the delivery of events at times throughout the year.
