To be responsible for all aspects of patient care including the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of direct patient care with supervision from senior staff. To support the Charge Nurse/Senior Sister to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients. In the absence of the Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the ward. In return we offer support for your continual development. The post holder would be expected to take charge of the outpatient department in the absence of the nursing sister and to supervise junior registered and unregistered staff. Informal visits to the department are welcome so you can come and meet the team. Staff work their 37.5 hours compressed into 4 days Monday to Friday.
