Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role
  • As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • You will be expected to maintain accurate and timely nursing records, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to Trust policies and NMC standards.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for storing, checking, and administering drugs, including the intravenous route, in accordance with Trust policy and NMC standards.
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse (general)
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of research and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to take on a small research or audit project
  • Demonstrates a caring and sensitive approach to patient care
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff for a shift
