The Details:

  • Role: Office Administrator
  • Pay: £10.50 per hour
  • Duration: Temporary-Permanent
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am4:00pm (starting time is flexible)
  • Start: ASAP
  • Location: North Cambridge

Overview of The Role:

  • Photocopying, filing, faxing, completing routine forms
  • Dealing with all general enquiries either by telephone or facetoface and signing in visitors
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail and posting outgoing mail
  • Producing and responding to correspondence using templates
  • On hand to be the first point of contact for sick pupils whilst liaising with parents/carers/staff
  • Assisting with arrangements for school events and visits including hospitality
  • Contributing to the production of materials e.g. year books
  • Updating and maintaining manual and computerised records and management information systems
  • The ability to build professional relationships communicating with other school staff as well as pupils, parents/carers, suppliers and visitors
  • Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking abilities identifying straight forward solutions to problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • An excellent telephone manner, along with being personable, friendly and approachable
