  • What will you do:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Lead the HR team and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and opportunities.
  • Advocate for HR strategy and transformation.

Culture Transformation and Leadership:
Your main focus will be leading the HR transformation and nurturing the council's culture.

People Management and Wellbeing:
As the Head of HR, you will oversee the wellbeing of the workforce and drive strategic adjustments to HR functions.

Experience in Local Authority environments and a proven track record in organizational design are essential for this role. Additionally, expertise in creating HR strategies that enhance business performance and being an active member of the Corporate Management Team are required.

You will be a seasoned people professional, adept at advising senior leaders in fostering a supportive culture for effective service delivery.

Ideally, you will be a Chartered Member of the CIPD, focusing on continuous professional development and best employment practices.

This is a hybrid role with a presence required at the Uxbridge office three days a week.
