Job Title:
Home Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily household tasks and chores
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client
  • Help with personal care tasks, such as bathing or dressing, if needed
  • Monitor and assist with medication reminders
  • Accompany the client to appointments or social outings, as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a home assistant or in a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in conversation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
  • Flexibility in working hours, including availability on weekends or evenings if needed

Note:
This position may require a background check and/or drug screening.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Pay:
Up to £13.00 per hour

  • Although our work area covers many locations you must be prepared to attend a Face to Face interview at the main Offices.
  • Areas we cover are Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley, Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow, Clee Hill, Tenbury, Bridgnorth and all surrounding areas. Are you able work in some or all of these areas, travelling from and to individuals homes including those is more rural areas?

Experience:

  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
