Sales and Cash Administrator

Are you looking for a new challenge in Finance?
Our EU business is seeking to recruit a full time Sales and Cash Administrator to join our team and work within the busy Finance department in Shropshire and help support our UK operating entities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure sales invoices/credit notes are produced accurately & timely in-line with process
- Upload and process invoices onto customer portals when necessary
- Monitor credit card payments and associated invoices to ensure items are cleared efficiently
- Verify VAT Codes before processing documents in Open Accounts, raising any concerns with senior finance staff as early as possible.
- Assist in the issuing of Inter Company invoices at month end & related recharges
- Allocate all cash receipts with support from the credit control staff
- Provide appropriate cover for colleagues within Finance as and when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience of Sales and Cash Ledger work within a high volume multicurrency services focused business
- General bookkeeping and accounting experience with knowledge of VAT and Tax
- Mathematics at GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
- Ideally AAT qualified or part qualified
- Strong customer service ethos and team player
