Children's Residential Care Worker

£11.92 per hour - Various working options available (full/part time/bank shifts)

Example Schedule: Mix of Early and Late shifts per week, with additional sleep-ins assigned at £30 per night

The workday typically starts around 8:00 am until 11:00 pm or 10:00 am until 10:00 pm, with a sleep-in allowance of £30. The shift schedule is planned well in advance.

There is flexibility in the schedule as we understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team.

We are seeking Children's Residential Care Workers to offer guidance and inspiration to our youth.

With 20 residential homes for children in the Preston area, we deliver specialized support to children aged 8 to 18 with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and emotional concerns. The children may require one-on-one or sometimes two-on-one assistance.

We require compassionate individuals with diverse interests such as DIY, sports, arts, music, or any other passion. Your interests have the potential to enrich the experiences of our young people at Cambian Complex Care, aiding in their team-building skills, leadership abilities, communication, confidence, and pursuit of independent living goals.

You will be supporting children who may be struggling to adapt to their routines, ensuring their well-being throughout your shifts and providing necessary assistance as per their care plans. Responsibilities may involve household chores and administrative tasks. Your contribution to this care package is vital in promoting the children's development and mental well-being.
