Assignment Details
Financial:
- Experience of producing management accounts and annual accounts.
- Experience of managing complex budgets
- Experience of presenting financial information to non
- Experience of collecting, managing and analysing complex data and statistics.
- To be responsible for submissions to the Charity Commission, HMRC and external clients
- To support the annual audit and to prepare appropriate reports and reconciliations as required.
Corporate:
- To contribute to all inhouse and external information and communication activities.
- Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures including Health and Safety legislation and Equal Opportunities.
- To keep abreast of and observe internal policy developments and changes.
- To contribute to business development activity by promoting the charities services
- To undertake any other delegated duties as reasonably requested.
Skills Required:
- Qualified or part qualified in a recognised accounting qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA ,AAT or equivalent
- Experience of working on own initiative with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage challenging and competing demands, respond to change and act under pressure.
- Ability to work methodically with strong attention to detail skills.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively within a team, to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- ICT literate and familiar with a range of software packages including accounting software and advanced knowledge of excel
