About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer to provide insightful financial analysis and support commercial decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze commercial performance to identify areas for improvement and provide informed insights to drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial models and analysis to support business planning and decision making.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, including monthly board reports.
- Identify and prioritize areas for cost optimization and implement initiatives to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cost base arising from M&A activity into core central group processes.
- Support the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts, and present to senior stakeholders as required.
- Coach and develop business stakeholders to improve their financial management skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with the firm's central finance teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a commercial mindset and experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills and ability to create financial models and communicate effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a team and prioritize workload effectively.
- Flexibility and ability to operate in a changing environment.
