Clinical Training Specialist

Are you looking for further progression in your career? If so, our client is recruiting for a hard-working Clinical Training Specialist to be the "Patient Training and Education expert" for our client's leading Renal products.
As part of this role, you willbe responsible for teaching and educating hospital staff and patients to improve technique and therapy success.
The focus will be on small group training in the community or NHS trust sites, with some need for face-to-face training in patients' homes.
This is a full time, field-based position covering Birmingham, working closely with Education Centres and other CPEs.Ideal Requirements
- You will be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin.
- Nursing degree or equivalent is essential.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience is ideal.
- Evidence of post registration study is essential.
- Experience within the Renal therapeutic area is desired.
- Knowledge of dialysis systems and processes is advantageous.
Role Responsibilities
- Teach and empower patients in selfmanagement of PD by providing high quality evidencebased patient training to patients following referral from NHS hospitals, in the patients own home or hospital when required.
- Work closely with teaching hospitals to allow the centre to be used as an education environment for observation of training particularly Renal Course Nurses and new to PD Nurses.
- Complete high quality training records, document training provided and feedback to hospital staff.
- Attend and contribute to regional business meetings to ensure activities are aligned and market knowledge is transferred as appropriate.
- Participate in governance processes identifying learning opportunities.
