About the Role

We are on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Optometrist to become part of a reputable Eye Clinic located in Birmingham. With over 25 years of experience in the ophthalmic sector, this clinic has a strong history of success and is dedicated to patient-centered care and employee development. This position provides a unique chance to enhance your skills with comprehensive training in refractive and cataract surgery.

This role is particularly suited for individuals who are 2 to 3 years post-qualification and are eager to expand their expertise. Training in refractive, cataract, and glaucoma management will be available, making this an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about their professional journey.

Qualifications

  • GOC Registration
  • Minimum of 2 Years Post Registration Experience in the UK
  • BSc in Optometry

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting Essential and Advanced Eye Examinations for patients.
  • Providing clinical assistance to ophthalmologists.
  • Participating in our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service.
  • Conducting pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
