Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

Start Date:
Wednesday, 5th June 2024

Contract:
Maternity Cover until June 2025

Hourly Rate:
£14.55

About the Role:


As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development and well-being of children in the nursery class.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young minds and contribute to their growth and development during a critical stage of their learning journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the nursery class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of activities to promote learning and development.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment conducive to the social, emotional, and academic growth of all children.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working within a schoolbased nursery or nursery class setting (not a private nursery).
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
