We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant - Early Years, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's Nursery setting and contributing to the educational journey of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in a general capacity, including assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
- Nurturing and guiding young learners through their educational journey, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supporting a small number of pupils who attend breakfast club, providing a safe and engaging environment for them to thrive.
- Focusing on raising standards in Phonics, with experience in supporting Phonics being highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
- Essential experience in EYFS, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and its implementation.
- Experience supporting Phonics is highly desirable.
