Job Summary

In line with our commitment to growth and to increase awareness of our position as the world's largest hotel company, the Brand Marketing Manager will contribute to the implementation of brand standards and delivery of marketing activities which raise awareness and consideration of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and its family of brands across the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Eurasia (EMEA) region.

The post holder will liaise with global brand leaders to interpret and adapt brand resources for EMEA hotels and customers. With the support of an internal design resource, the Brand Manager will deliver regional brand templates and oversee the distribution of brand assets to both internal and external audiences.

The Brand Manager will also lead on creative concepts for both digital and offline advertising, utilising creative agencies where needed.

Additionally, the Brand Manager will oversee Development Marketing, to support the team attracting new hotels to the Wyndham system. This will require management of a Development Marketing Specialist.

In order to deliver within this role, the post holder will need to act as a key point of marketing interface, maintaining a continual dialogue with colleagues in the wider Marketing team and colleagues in the Development, Revenue Management, Sales and Operations teams both in the EMEA region and across other regions as required.

The post holder will also be required to deliver ad hoc projects and work as defined by the Senior Director of Marketing, dependent on the demands of the business.

Complexity

The Brand Manager EMEA implements key marketing initiatives that will drive value for our hotels, build our brand(s) reputation and contribute towards commercial success on a daily basis . This role requires the ability to manage multiple assignments as well as understand and balance the needs of a diverse audience of stakeholders.

This role is responsible for the delivery of strategic brand marketing activity in EMEA, designed to raise the profile of the brands in our portfolio and ultimately increase brand awareness, affinity and overall occupancy and ADR within our hotels. The role includes part ownership of the Marketing EMEA budget, with forecsating and invoice management requirements. The role also includes line management of two permanent employees, as well as dotted line management of an intern.

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Marketing or similar field, is required
  • A minimum of five years previous experience working within a similar role/organisation – ideally within the travel/hospitality industry or an international franchise operation
  • Experience of working on international marketing campaigns, particularly within markets across the EMEA region
  • Languages: English (Fluent). Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Experience in copywriting essential (English language)
  • Familiarity with design-related programmes, including:
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe InDesign
  • Experience working with brand identities including logos, colour palettes and typography
