JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITY:

Due to significant financial investment and business growth this is a great opportunity to join our team as we install an optical-sorting machine at our factory in Wormegay to further improve our production performance and efficiencies.

We are looking for a technically competent individual with strong abilities to work calmly, logically, able to analyse and resolve problems who has previous experience working on similar machinery in a food manufacturing environment. You will have a good standard of spoken and written English, able to use your own initiative with a mechanical curiosity to understand and maximise performance by fine tuning the optical sorter to reflect the individual production run and any challenges this might present.


We are a third generation family run local business looking to recognise individual talent and encourage progression within our factory environment.


As part of our skilled production team, you will ensure production lines operate efficiently meeting deadlines whilst adhering to food manufacturing and health and safety standards.

You will be responsible for completing daily production paperwork and various checks throughout the shift.

This is a day shift role, working 5 days a week with a start time of 06:00 (Currently Monday - Friday with some Saturday working.)
