Description:
Rappahannock Community College, located in the rural Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia, is looking for EMS Adjunct Instructors for all certification levels. Instructors will lead students in various settings, including classrooms, labs, and online sessions. Candidates must be present on campus at the Glenns or Warsaw campuses and/or New Kent and Kilmarnock off-site locations. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to the college's mission and experience working with a diverse student population.

The primary responsibilities include delivering EMS program content through teaching, national testing preparation, and student placement in field experiences. Instructors report to the EMS Program Head and the Dean of Health Sciences. Teaching workload is determined by the Dean, offering flexibility in schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:
- EMT Instruction: Virginia and/or National Registry Advanced EMT designation, teaching experience, and competency in BLS/ALS knowledge.
- AEMT/Paramedic Instruction: Virginia and/or National Registry Paramedic designation, teaching experience, and competency in ALS knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in EMS or related fields, instructor certifications, and teaching experience at the college level.
