Job Summary:

Rappahannock Community College seeks a qualified Nurse Aide Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Nurse Aide program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in long-term care settings. Responsibilities:

* Teach Nurse Aide courses to students in a classroom and clinical setting
* Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students
* Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
* Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia
* Considerable experience in long-term care settings
* Significant experience in supervising nurse aides or other unlicensed assistive personnel
* Train-the-Trainer certification for teaching the nurse aide curriculum or the ability to complete training within the first two weeks of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous teaching experience in secondary and/or post-secondary settings
* Baccalaureate degree conferred or in progress
