Sheridan Myers, the leading providers of school meals transport, are hiring on a permanent position due to an increase of workload.


As a Transport Administrator you will work within the team managing all aspects of communications with the hiring and management of drivers and taxis.


Main duties will include:

  • Supporting Operations Manager with bookings
  • Dealing and responding to customer enquiries with resolution or escalation
  • Liaising daily with customers to report status of bookings
  • Liaising with drivers regarding their routes and general enquiries
  • Support queries generated in the team
  • Deal with complaints
  • Input data accurately onto the system. Updating databases.
  • Annual quality assurance auditing to kitchens. Providing feedback to clients and corrective actions.
  • Driver administration (includes driver onboarding documentation and issuing of uniform/ID)
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Skills required:

  • You must have excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Knowledge of dealing with complaints would be desirable
  • Work well within a small team
  • Must be able to accept responsibility of tasks undertaken and to adapt to changing priorities
  • Work well under pressure
  • Willing to take on new responsibilities
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • Must have own vehicle/drive as no public transport links to office

Working times/hours:
Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30-17:00.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

£22,000.00 per year
