Peripatetic Care Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Escort clients to appointments and outings
- Document client care and report any changes in condition to the supervisor
- Many of our clients require clinical competencies, you will be required to undertake all relevant clinical training with our nursing team, such as PEG, Trachyostomy, Catheter etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
