- *
  • Working closely with the NPI & Engineering to create and improve CMM programmes
  • Ensuring that the CMM calibration schedule is maintained
  • Responding to any measurement issues and developing solutions
  • Training others on inspection both manual and mechanical techniques
  • Lead any activities involving CMM improvement projects
  • Ensure the CMM equipment inventory is maintained and purchased
  • To complete measurement systems analysis (MSA) in line with current standards

CMM Programmer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working as a CMM Programmer/Metrology Engineer, creating and modifying CMM programmes
  • Wellversed working within a highprecision industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas etc)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing), and the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Must have a proactive, 'get up and go' attitude
