Job description
Established in 2005, Restorate is a family run online retailer of specialised woodworking, DIY and restoration products.

We sell nationwide, and as a market leader we process hundreds of orders a day in the peak periods between March and September.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our customer service team, working closely alongside the Office Manager and Managing Director to ensure a consistent and helpful advice and sales process.


The Role:

  • Being main point of contact for all incoming enquiries and administrational tasks
  • Able to ask the right questions to understand customer needs and advise on relevant products and services
  • Understand the different levels of Trade Accounts and applicable benefits
  • Support the Office Manager and Managing Director with preparing reports and ad hoc tasks as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with the warehouse team, minimising order and shipping errors
  • Understand restricted product sales and relevant certifications required, update and audit company records
  • Have an overall awareness of Health & Safety procedures, ensuring safe workplace practices at all times and reporting potential risks as appropriate
  • Have a flexible approach, supporting in all areas of the business as required by the management team

About you:

  • Minimum of 4 years customer service experience
  • Able to prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain a calm manner at busy times
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers
  • Proactive, friendly and flexible
  • Happy to work in a fastpaced environment


Full product training will be given as part of the induction process, however an interest in antiques, furniture making/restoration or DIY would be beneficial.

This role will be 32 hours per week over 4 days, an amount of flexibility with days is required and there may be an element of weekend working on very rare occasions with notice and prior arrangement.

Working hours are 8am til 5pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
