The Development & Infrastructure Engineering Consultancy division is currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner at a Senior or Principal Level to join the team based in Glasgow, with the flexibility to work remotely. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with various teams in traffic engineering and planning development.
The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, contribute to project acquisition, and support both new and existing clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning and execution by applying design standards and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Prepare contracts and support design during construction phases.
- Define information requirements clearly for clients and team members, ensuring project objectives are understood.
- Support the development of junior team members.
- Ensure project success in meeting client criteria.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting all requirements.
- Contribute to project acquisition and delivery while adhering to bidding and revenue guidelines.
Required Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Math, or Geography
- Knowledge of design standards, traffic modeling, and industry software.
- Experience in planning processes and client interaction.
- Project management skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and sharing knowledge.
