We have a great opportunity with one of our global insurance clients to be a Service Design and Transition Lead.

You'll be joining at an exciting time for the organisation and will be tasked with leading and driving the function forward, identifying areas of improvement and promoting the function at a high level to the wider business.

You will remain hands-on getting involved with a range of projects, whilst also managing and growing the team.

The Role:
nDefine and document the relevant service acceptance criteria with Delivery teams, ensure they are achieved, and perform QA on SD&T deliverablesnDirect engagement with several projects – the team currently has 25-30 live projectsnChampion SD&T look for any opportunities to expand the reach and scope of the teamnIdentify any risks and influence key stakeholders to ensure these are addressednReview and aid the further development of the organisation's approach for Service Design, supporting the transition process and defining the acceptance criteria for transitioning new or significantly changed services into BAU operational supportnPromote and monitor project quality outputs to ensure they are fit for purpose and fit for use within operational servicesnEngage directly with stakeholders to promote awareness and compliance with service transition quality plans and processesnLine management responsibilities and the opportunity to grow out the team

Experience needed:
nStrong IT Service Management background, with relevant experience in SD&TnExperience in leading and driving an SD&T function forwardnManager IT Services, using recognised frameworks, methods and tooling to a wide and diverse user basenAble to develop productive working relationships with wider teams and stakeholders

Nice to have :
nRelevant certifications – ideally ITIL foundation as a minimumnExperience of using automated systems to support specific business functions or processes as well as Service Management toolsets
