This role will work collaboratively in developing the capability of the DC Management Teams, providing generalist HR guidance and support in delivering strategic objectives, projects & other initiatives.
This role reports to the Senior People Manager for Superdrug Distribution.Wider People team and Distribution/Transport teams, and Senior Managers.
- Providing guidance and advice to line managers on recruitment processes, including overseeing the successful temp to perm employment of Warehouse Operatives in the DC.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers on succession planning for key management positions, identifying development, and learning opportunities for internal successors.
- Working in collaboration with the Senior DC Leadership Team and central Learning & Development team to deliver engaging training and development opportunities for all work levels across the Distribution Centre.
- Working in partnership with the Distribution Centre Manager in maintaining strong relationships with employee representatives, including attending regular forum meetings, promoting collaboration and transparent two-way communication.
- Working collaboratively on effective strategies that help manage DC's People KPI's, including labour turnover and absence.
- This includes performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.
- You have a flexible approach to Business Partnering and can support wider team activities.
- You can use a blend of data insights and storytelling to influence decision making.
- A passion for the world of Distribution health and beauty.
