Overview of the role
As a Core Technology Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing the foundational technologies that underpin our products and services.
This role demands a good understanding of a specific tech stack, including Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, as well as ML/AI frameworks, Python, and C#.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud and AI technology is robust, scalable, and in line with our strategic goals.
You will have the opportunity to cross train and work across our various core engineering capabilities.Duties and responsibilities
Support and guide stakeholders and product teams with design and development of solutions leveraging Databricks, Snowflake and Azure for cloud computing services.nBe at the forefront of introducing AI/ML technology and frameworks into our core technology capabilities.nDevelop and maintain high-quality, scalable core technologies using C# alongside Python, ensuring seamless integration into our product offerings.nResearch emerging technologies within the specified tech stack to enhance our technology infrastructure and offerings.nCollaborate with product development teams, ensuring the optimal integration of core technologies for superior performance and user experience.nEnsure system designs adhere to best practices, supporting the strategic direction of the company and leveraging Azure cloud services effectively.nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the specific tech stack, providing expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, ML/AI, Python, and C#.nDocument technical designs, processes, and APIs, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.nProvide Databricks and Snowflake administration capabilities through a Service Now process.
Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of education.nDemonstrated expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing these skills.nProficient in ML/AI technologies, with hands-on experience developing and implementing algorithms and models in Python.nStrong programming skills in C# and Python, with a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.nFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.nExcellent problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling complex technical challenges.nEffective communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
