Copello have partnered with an established manufacturing business based in Fareham in the recruitment of a Project Engineer.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

This position will be based within the server hardware team, providing technical services to both support the bidding and winning of computer and server business and release of first-off projects through to production.

The role is ideal for a technical person who enjoys interacting with sales and customers and getting involved in commercial aspects of winning business.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience and knowledge of the specification, installation and configuration of Virtual Machine hosts
  • Working knowledge of computing, storage, and networking infrastructure
  • Knowledge and experience of computer hardware and operating systems
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in specifying Virtual Machine hosts
  • Ability to review and understand complex BOMs
  • Ability to architect computer hardware and rack systems.
  • Experience/knowledge of the Industrial computer hardware market
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and prioritise workload.
This role is offering a salary of £34K-£40K DoE as well as hybrid working opportunities.

Please note that candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance due to the nature of the business.
