Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at HMS Collingwood. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all engineering and technical aspects of projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, practices, and quality control policies.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
- Perform quality control of work and report regularly on project status.
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
- Work with third-party contractors to develop viable time scales and working practices.
- Proven experience in applying project engineering/electrical principles.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualisation software.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and superiors.
- Full UK driving licence with ability to travel between sites.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- IOSH Level 3 Managing Safely.
- Current engineer licence.
- BSc degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
