This role is instrumental in supporting the sales ordering process, dealing with an order from start to finish. Keeping track and ensuring the correct documentation supports it to ensure traceability and legal compliance.We are looking to shortlist and hold interviews over the next week
Responsibilities
- Health & Safety
- Ensuring the team are abiding by and working to the company's Health and Safety policies to ensure everyone is kept safe
- Formal reporting of accidents and near misses and SIOs
- Ensuring good housekeeping standards are attained and maintained in the office
- H&S and Environmental Compliance checks as directed by QHSE manager i.e. fire alarm, emergency lighting, first aid boxes
- Quality
- Work in accordance with the company Quality Management System (QMS) (i.e. sales order process)
- Sales
- Reporting of sales
- Looking after the Sales order process, including invoicing
- Booking and arranging transport
- General Office Duties
- Meeting and Greeting our Visitors, managing the company calendar
- Dealing with Collections and deliveries
- Answering the telephone and providing reception service
- Photocopying, filing, post, ordering stationery and janitorial supplies
- Refreshments
Requirements:
- Sage 50 proficient
- Excel, Word, Outlook Proficient
- Reliable and dependable
- Honest and truthful
- Solid attendance record and punctuality
- Promote safe working practices
- Have respect for others in the company.
- Dress appropriately.
- Smart, clean and tidy with due regard for personal hygiene
- Be an ambassador of the company and lead by example at all times, adhering to the requirements set out in the code of conduct.
- Provide appropriate guidance, mentoring and support to colleagues to ensure effective team work and delivery of area objective
This will be a job share post
