provides residential care to young adults with learning disabilities, Autism and additional needs with aspects of their daily living such as Leisure activities, Hobbies, Meal times, Administering medication, Personal Care, Shopping, Financial support and family contact.


As a Team leader you will:

  • Act as shift leader and manage the day to day running of the home in the absence of the manager, ensuring the safety those we support and staff on shift and ensuring that the residents care plans are adhered to.
  • Provide leadership and support to the staff team in the absence of the manger.
  • To ensure that all records are completed fully and accurately, and support is provided to assist staff to do this as necessary.

Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers;
  • To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures;
  • To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day;
  • To provide reports and documentation that reflects the progress of the adults we support;
  • To review the residents care plans and other associated documentation;
  • To undertake training and development opportunities;
  • To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model;
  • To act as an advocate for the residents.
  • To work with residents using positive support strategies including deescalation tools and using inhouse training techniques.
  • To assist with the management of medication, finances, and the homes budget.

Skills & Experience:

  • Should have experience / qualifications within the care sector (NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Essential).
  • Should have a caring nature and be willing to receive training
  • Must have the right to work in the EU

Shift Pattern

  • Rolling rota 3 Shifts on, 3 Shifts off
  • 8am 8pm

Salary:
£10.10 per hour
