We are looking for an Account Executive supporting the grocery and ecommerce aspect of our business to join our team. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering commercial performance, leading an account and supporting a Senior Account Managers with account support and administration of customers. Role with predominantly focus on Ocado but will also support in Waitrose and Amazon..

In this role, you will :

  • Be Responsible for either leading Account Management and/or supporting Senior Account Managers and account support/administration of customers.
  • Own account forecasting, working alongside Finance & Demand Planning (Base, NPD, Promotional forecasting and financial robustness).
  • Support Senior Account Managers in building winning strategic plans.
  • Support the core trading relationship and wiring plan.
  • Play a key role in evaluating and reviewing promotional and other performance drivers alongside category teams for course-correction.
  • Support the internal account collaboration across category, finance, shopper marketing, merchandising, eComm & supply chain to maximise performance through WCCE.
  • Manage field priorities and execution calendar (where required).
  • Manage the robust administration and accounting of sales investments (especially promotions), including promotion review, invoice validation and deduction and claims management.
  • Support the period close process, including accruals management and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Own Trade Promotion and Settlements reporting for each account, including standard reports on a weekly and monthly basis, plus ad hoc requests.
  • Strong collaboration with the sales team and wider business stakeholders to embed new business processes leading up to and following our SAP and TPM implementation.

This list covers the main duties you will undertake but other duties will be required and added to as required to meet project and business needs. Flexibility to support the business is essential to the role.

The successful candidate will have :

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience of working with and influencing multiple contacts
  • Proficient in selling
  • Good analytical skills, combined with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Core understanding of managing financial concepts and strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive individual with strong prioritization skills and drive for results.
  • Proven experience working with cross functional teams to deliver joint goals.

This role is based in Farringdon and it will be required to come to the office 2 days a week.
