IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for technology to join our busy IT Department.

The team provide support for over 1,400 users covering multiple sites located throughout England and Scotland. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, with excellent phone manner and be confident under pressure.

The role will be office based five days a week with occasional travel to other sites when required. The successful candidate will be performing general 1st and 2nd line support duties as part of the IT Service Desk role as well as assisting with the integration of our most recent acquisitions.

On the job training will be provided by means of mentoring and guidance from senior members of the team.

And as a IT Support Engineer with Bellrock, you'll do it by

  • Provide end user IT support both in person and over the phone
  • Log, prioritise and take ownership of IT Service Desk tickets through to resolution
  • Set up new user accounts, profiles and Office 365 mailboxes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PCs, laptops, conference equipment, printers and other IT devices
  • Configure tablets and mobile phones
  • Data migration from on-premise data shares to SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Maintenance of our IT Asset Register
  • Install and configure operating systems and applications including Anti-Virus solutions
  • Configure IP telephones

What does it take?

If you're ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a IT Support Engineer, you'll need

  • Broad knowledge of a wide range of Information Technology systems
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Configuring Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems
  • Ability to fix / repair PC and Laptop issues and update hardware BIOS
  • Computer imaging ideally Intune and AutoPilot
  • Active Directory users, groups, and Group Policy Objects
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications including Teams and Zoom
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013 / Online administration
  • Experience of configuring workstations, laptops, conference equipment, tablets and mobiles
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an IT environment
  • 5 x GCSE's grade A-C
  • A valid UK driving license is essential
  • Microsoft certifications advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.

Working arrangements
