JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for administering on-premise and cloud-based Oracle databases and services to ensure they are up-to-date, secure, and perform well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer Oracle databases, WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware services
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and support Oracle databases
  • Collaborate with development teams for database design
  • Work with service delivery teams for issue resolution
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure staff for system performance
  • Manage memory and disk storage for databases

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Oracle DBA experience
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Windows Server administration
  • Ability to use Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
  • Experience in database backup and recovery with RMAN

ABILITIES/SKILLS

  • Experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher
  • Experience with WebLogic and Fusion Middleware Server 12c or higher
  • Proficiency in RMAN, Batch Scripting, and SQL/PL-SQL
  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to meet expectations on time
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
