Links Nurseries Ltd is a private limited company which runs a well respected group of three nurseries in Edinburgh, East Lothian, and Aberdeenshire.

We provide flexible, high quality childcare and learning for children aged 0 to 5 years.

Our employment package includes competitive rates of pay, 5.6 weeks of annual leave and 4 paid public holidays (pro rata for part time), heavily discounted childcare for all staff with nursery age children, and we operate the cycle to work tax benefit scheme.

Our nurseries close between Christmas and New Year.


We are currently recruiting for permanent full time Nursery Practitioners/Nursery Assistants to join the team at our Edinburgh nursery, City & Little City Nursery, located in the leafy and quiet suburb of Greenbank EH10 near Morningside, Edinburgh.

The nursery is set over two large spacious buildings, each with well resourced playrooms, dining areas, sleep rooms and sensory areas.

Each building also has free flow access to attractive garden areas and large staff rooms with kitchen facilities.

The nursery is served by local buses and ample on street parking is also available for staff travelling by car.


This position is full time and permanent for 40 hours over four days from 7.30 am until 6 pm Monday to Friday with a floating day off.

Qualified applicants will be paid £12.20 per hour.

For those who are working towards a childcare qualification and have completed 70% or more, the rate is £11 per hour, otherwise the rate of pay is £10.42 per hour for those aged 23 and over, £10.18 an hour for those aged 21 and 22, and £7.49 an hour for those aged 20 and under.
