We are looking for a Strategy Manager to lead the team's strategic analysis, generating insights to assess growth opportunities. This role will also collaborate with leaders across Jagex, using their ability to influence others to support the delivery of active growth opportunities.

You will have high levels of exposure across the business, working closely with the senior leaders and shareholders to inform corporate strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Strategy Creation
    • Build investment cases for growth initiatives using inputs from market, competitor and player research
    • Support internal consulting projects across a range of growth topics (e.g. pricing, market entry, customer segmentation, proposition design)
  • Strategy Implementation and Review
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis and review of high impact initiatives to support strategic decision making
    • Support strategic goal setting across the business, using KPIs to set targets and monitor performance
    • Contribute to investor relations activities, including board presentations and external facing presentation materials
  • M&A
  • Participate in the discovery, evaluation, and analysis of potential M&A investments, including commercial due diligence.
  • Work with acquired studios across the portfolio to facilitate integration and realise synergies identified in the relevant investment case

What we're looking for:

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Problem solving – ability to break down complex problems into their constituent parts and extract key insights from large volumes of information
  • Commercially-minded with a solid understanding of how to measure business success
  • Critical thinking – ability to absorb large volumes of information, think critically about which is most relevant and create clear insights
  • Analytical approach – confident using numbers to assess a situation and communicate ideas
  • Presentation skills – confident in building slide presentations to convey complex ideas and messages in a simple way
  • Verbal Communication – ability to communicate ideas effectively in verbal form to a range of audiences including senior stakeholders
