We are looking for a Training Officer to make sure our employees have the right skills, knowledge, and understanding to safely meet the needs of our business.

Skilled and competent employees are key to providing high quality, safe, residential and homecare services that meet our clients individual needs.

You will lead and develop our employees training to successfully deliver service outcomes whilst maintaining operational quality and continuous improvement of services through training, in line with Care Inspectorate expectations.

This full-time, permanent role will be based at our Head Office in Cambuslang.

Travel to visit our care homes throughout South Lanarkshire is required and a driving license is essential (our furthest Care Home is only 4 miles away from our Head Office).

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Develop and deliver induction training to all new employees within the business.
  • To undertake the daytoday management of the Learning Management System.
  • Ability to collaborate with the management team to develop, review, and evaluate employee training (facetoface and online), with overall responsibility for the endtoend planning and delivery of training.
  • Identify any areas to improve the training compliance of the care homes.
  • To initiate, prioritise and manage a process for reviewing care homes that may be underperforming within training compliance.
  • To ensure the training compliance of the care homes meets Care Inspectorate standards and legislative requirements.
  • Provide resources, tools, and training content to ensure care homes are equipped to exceed legislative requirements
  • Represent KPG professionally at all times, adhering to the company values and continually developing oneself through training, further reading and other methods of CPD.
