Global Governance Lead - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract


We are excited to announce that City IT are looking for a Global Governance Lead for a 12 month fixed term contract into the Global IT Planning, Governance and Communications team.

This is an exciting growth opportunity to help us shape the evolution of our IT operating model and deliver the IT Strategy for City.


Overview of the role:


The Global Governance Lead will work in partnership with the IT Global Leadership and Extended Leadership Teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our Leadership Planning, Governance and Ways of Working as we evolve our Operating Model over the coming years.

You'll need to be a self-starter, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and have excellent organisational and project management skills.

Please note - global travel will be required on an ad/hoc basis with this role and would require you to attend global leadership meetings across Europe, North America and other locations

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate directly with Global and Extended Leadership teams to develop and execute strategic plans, aligning the IT organization with evolving business goals.

Meeting Excellence: Enhance leadership meeting effectiveness by optimizing cadence, clarifying outcomes, and ensuring objectives are met, fostering streamlined communication and decision-making.

Leadership Governance: Manage and prioritize leadership governance meetings, driving accountability through goal tracking, timely actions, and transparent reporting.

Cross-Functional Facilitation: Serve as a bridge between Global and Extended Leadership teams, coordinating cross-functional initiatives that support the evolution of the Operating Model.

Progress Monitoring: Oversee domain sequencing and progress, identifying risks and taking mitigating actions, while supporting budget planning and resource forecasting.
