About the role:

A specialist SEND provision in Northumberland are looking to appoint a
1:1 Autism Support Assistant
to work with students who have a diagnosis of Autism.

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to guide students in managing their emotions and working towards their targets.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of
1:1 Autism Support Assistant

you will:

  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
