Salary: £45,000 + depending on skills What you'll be doing: Applying knowledge, skills and training to deliver the People Data governance Framework, Standards, Policies and Practises required to allow the Enterprise to meet its strategic and tactical goalsLeading initiatives to improve the accuracy of data throughout the enterpriseLiaising with the Enterprise-wide People Data Owners to understand data governance requirements for individual projectsSupporting curation and maintenance of items within the Data Catalogue, including data dictionary and glossarySupporting Data Governance team BAU activities, maintain published data governance documentation & support BU's/Sectors with data maturity assessmentsCurating and maintaining data quality rules on the behalf of the People Enterprise Data OwnerRunning of the CoE Data Owner People data governance working groupSupporting in the creation and adoption of a Data Quality Work Stream and subsequent activitiesPromoting increasing data literacy adoption across the Human Resources functionSupporting Group IM&T in the delivery of Master Data Management programme on the behalf of Human ResourcesManaging data change process from a data governance perspective between Shared Services, EITS and CoE Data Owners to ensure that data remains compliant as per the standardEngaging with and contributes to the work of cross-functional teams to ensure that Enterprise Data needs are being met throughout the deliverable/scope of work Your skills and experiences: Essential: Proven data governance or data management backgroundDemonstratable data analytical understanding Desirable: Understanding of the DAMA frameworkPrior experience within a HR functionGood general knowledge & experience of associated data governance, data management, data protection and HR toolset processes Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The People and Data Analytics HR team: You will be joining a dynamic team working specifically within the Data Governance area of the HR Data & Technology team, supporting the BAE Enterprise with providing guidance, training and support focusing on data governance or data management.
