As a Purchasing Assistant, your main focus will be handling Purchase Orders for various departments like Engineering, Sales, Rentals, Repair, and Service. Your role involves working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet purchasing targets, while also prioritizing tasks, tracking order progress, and staying updated on reports. By streamlining the Purchase Order process and meeting customer deadlines effectively, you will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and aligning with our business goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with Supplier RFQs as needed
  • Processing Purchase Orders based on department requirements
  • Expediting Purchase Orders and updating stakeholders on order status
  • Coordinating with various departments to fulfill customer needs
  • Communicating delivery schedules to internal customers
  • Maintaining electronic filing systems
  • Supporting production and delivery coordination
  • Handling other duties assigned by managers

Qualifications:

  • HND/HNC in a Business-related field
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving License)

Experience:

  • Experience in procurement processes and cost optimization
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to industry requirements

Skills, Training, or Special Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
