Location:
hybrid with 1 day pw in the Central Bedfordshire office, the rest remote at home and seeing clients

Salary:
competitive basic based on your experience and proven results with a quarterly paid bonus based on delivered sales OTE CIRCA £80,000

Days/Hours:
Mon-Fri 35 hrs per week (9am-5pm)

Overview of the Business Development Manager Role:

Our client is looking to employ for an experienced Business Development professional who can bring talent, drive and fresh thinking to help propel business and its services to the business world.

The role is remote based, covering the remote business development activities in the UK and Ireland, so travelling is essential requiring a full UK driving license and passport.

To promote and sell the companies corporate business services to UK and Irish businesses

  • This is a practical hands-on position, which would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to work for a growing and dynamic global business. Working as an integral part of the UK Business Development team, this field based role focuses on growing the sales revenue by introducing and selling the corporate business services to relevant businesses across the UK and Ireland.
You must have a strong field sales background and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

To achieve individual sales targets and support the wider business development team to achieve their sales targets set by the Commercial Director.


  • To support the Commercial Director with sales visits, exhibitions, and events when necessary.
  • Proactively maintain and build key customer accounts.
  • To develop new clients to increase the customer base including ad hoc support with tenders.
  • To maintain accurate records of all inquiries, sales and transactions using salesforce system.
  • To maximise sales of products and services, including the development of appropriate sales channels.
  • Support the Commercial Director in both initiatives and activities supporting the consultant partnership program to increase Consultant engagement.
the ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally at a senior and working level.
Experience of business development in a related industry sector (TIC)
Ability to understand and utilise financial and management information, with the ability to make informed decisions
Ability to provide a robust sales tracker and analyse / report results to senior management
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Full UK driving license
