Central Bedfordshire College, are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Business at our Dunstable Campus.

  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work with other members of the Business team to develop and deliver the curriculum
  • Contribute to the overall development of the department
  • Have experience in delivering: Marketing, Law and Finance Units up to Level 4/5

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
  • Experience of teaching BTEC Level 1 to Level 3 in Business
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons
  • Ability to assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of using a variety of teaching methods and resources
  • Experience of working with students from a variety of backgrounds
  • Experience of using IT in the classroom
  • Experience of developing and delivering curriculum materials

The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
