Vacancy - Commercial Administration Assistant, Flexible working hours
We are looking for a fastidious, organized, and proactive individual to carry out various duties within the Commercial department.

If you are well organized, can pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working with an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced industry this role could be for you.


Primary function


As members of the Commercial Support Team, our primary function is to supply the Account Managers as much assistance as possible to allow the process flow to be as accurate and efficient as it can be.


We perform a key role within the wider Commercial Team and are communicators to multiple departments at JZ Flowers as well as with the Procurement Team based in Holland.

Importantly we must liaise with external contacts such as Haulage companies and Customers in a professional manner.


Our responsibility is to ensure products/documents are set up accurately and in a timely fashion, also ensure information is distributed so that all colleagues are aware of all activity being actioned.


Responsibilities

  • Keeping our bespoke systems (Vision, AppNet, Ariba, Microsoft GP) and spreadsheets up to date.
  • Producing documents and reports.
  • Maintain our inhouse price confirmation system.
  • Assisting the Commercial Team with administration.
  • Update product specifications with product substitutions/deviations
  • Answering telephones, taking, and giving messages.
  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Arranging business meeting lunches.
  • Work with design team to arrange samples/couriers.
  • Raise purchase orders/Sales orders.

  • Used to working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and ability using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook.
  • Bright and incisive mind, eager to get involved and learn.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and perform calmly under pressure.

pay scale:
£12.50 per hour

Other Considerations:
Own transport is essential.

Hours:
Mon-Fri working pattern, Flexible working hours but must be hours worked everyday Monday to Friday.
