Music Production Community Lead

Location:
Cambridge, UK (option to work remotely, up to 3 days/week)

We are looking for a motivated marketeer to work alongside our growing team in the UK and local representatives in Africa and the Middle East, attracting and inspiring music makers and helping Paxt realise its purpose, to _amplify African stories through music & sound.

Developing and sharing market expertise, the Music Production Community Lead aims to amplify the stories of local Music Producers, working with Paxt's Music Production brands to place them on a global stage.

You'll be driving demand for music-making technology in Africa and the Middle East by nurturing key relations and executing effective marketing initiatives in cooperation with the brands, our local resellers, and key market influencers, including producers, media partners, schools, bloggers, vloggers and beyond.


Great at building rapport and long-term relationships, you'll be creating and co-ordinating marketing activities, helping our local partners to drive demand and creating excitement around the brands we represent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have your finger on the pulse of music production trends, developing a lived appreciation for the latest products, technology, and local community needs.
  • Support the resellers to represent Paxt brands, helping them to inspire local musicmakers.
  • Develop and drive influencer relations as part of a growing influencer database.
  • Create and run fullcycle content marketing campaigns that amplify inspirational stories.
  • Assist the team in driving profit in this community, enabling Paxt to fulfil its purpose.
  • Work with the teamto ensure the right quantities of the right product are in stock in the best resellers across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.

  • Demonstrable experience in retail, influencer, and content marketing.
  • A focus on objective metrics and professional experience of working autonomously.
  • A working knowledge of retail, both direct to customer and distribution
  • A structured completer / finisher with strong relational skills
