Opportunity to join the Customer Services team of a leading family owned manufacturer of high quality animal feed delivering to trade and farm customers throughout the South West.

This varied and busy role has responsibilities for:

  • Being the first line of support and engagement with customers/visitors either by telephone or site visit.
  • Proactively working with and supporting customers to enhance ordering process and dealing with queries (working closely with assigned Sales Reps)
  • Responsible for general office duties including typing and filing, taking and processing sales orders, liaising with customers, meeting visitors and answering the telephone, helping at agricultural fairs when needed
  • Administrative duties
  • Occasional cover/support for other internal departments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as good administration, attention to detail and an ability to work independently and as part of a team. A background in agriculture preferred but not essential, along with strong numeracy and literacy at GCSE._

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with alternating weekly shift pattern working between 8.00am and 5.30pm (with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch). Occasional Bank Holiday cover required during busy periods. Salary will depend on skills, knowledge and prior experience.
