Could you be our next Business Continuity Manager?

We're on the hunt for a strong individual to join us to take responsibility for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our business continuity management system.

You'll ensure the continuity and resilience of the business, its operations, and its services, during unexpected disruptions, crises and major business or customer impacting incidents. Should we suffer a major incident it's essential we have well prepared and practised plans - in this role you will be responsible for ensuring that we do

You'll be working closely with stakeholders at all levels within the business, so you'll need those great communication skills of yours along with your strategic thinking, leadership, decision making and influencing abilities.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential for this role.

  • Business continuity management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to business continuity management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business continuity plans and strategies within a complex organisational structure.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO/22301).
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating crisis management exercises and simulations.
  • Experience in developing incident response plans and ensuring they are proven, maintained, developed, trained out and fully operationalised.
