Main Purpose of Job


The People Advisor is passionate about providing People Advisory support, ensuring we have effective people processes which enable a seamless employee experience, in line with our values.

This role leads on advising and coaching line managers across the business and the day-to-day management of their teams through the full employee lifecycle.

They will work with the Recruitment Lead to support the whole recruitment cycle for our BDT & Retail recruitment and support on other vacancies as and when required to source the best talent.

They will be responsible for all People related systems ensuring that the data we hold is accurate and driving the systems forward to ensure we are operating efficiently.

This role will also provide cover for the People Coordinator and People Advisor - Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

General

  • Work with the P&C Coordinator as an escalation point to respond to queries in the P&C inbox
  • Cover the P&C Coordinator as required to create employment contracts and administer employment contracts and employee change paperwork and cover the P&C inbox when required.
  • Support on Global Mobility, work permits, VISAs, liaise with the immigration experts to provide advice and ensure that correct processes are followed. Track our compliance and flag any VISAs/work permits due to expire.
  • Coordinate and support the PCLT and People Partners with biannual "People Days" succession planning, career development process (book and attend meetings, prepare documentation and spreadsheets/ actions)
  • Work collaboratively across the People and Culture team to provide an effective People partnerships and support to the business

Systems

  • Responsible for the reporting and management of our

People System:
People Pod. Identify and continually evolving our processes to improve efficiencies of the system to minimise administrative paperwork.

Continually review the notifications to ensure they are accurate and have a standard format, working with the Comms Lead to ensure they reflect 'Lindt's tone of voice'.


  • Carrying out quarterly audits of the people data to check for inaccuracies.
  • Responsible for the ongoing tracking and utilisation of our annual CSP agreement
  • Create and send monthly, quarterly reports for stakeholders, including owning the Townhall People Data. Owning the reporting in the systems, ensuring reports are clear and formatted correctly
  • Assist with the selfassessments for LICS
  • Ownership of cornerstone, ensuring the data is correct, setting up tasks for talent planning/EOY, pulling reports and actioning any changes.

Employee Relations

  • First point of contact for line managers on all ER matters for Retail and BDT, providing advice and coaching, escalating to the People Partner as required.
  • Manage absence and maternity for all functions.
  • Liaise with Zurich on all longterm sick cases and follow up/recommendations to ensure when our people need us, they are looked after.
  • Attend formal meetings, including in the capacity of note taker, as and when required

Talent Acquisition

  • Provide cover to the People Coordinator, where required with their recruitment activities.

Working Relationships


This roles requires the individual to be approachable through building and maintaining real relationships with all our people and external contacts.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Previous experience of working in Human Resources, including experience of employee relations and recruitment
  • Excellent attention to detail with good planning and organisation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player willing to provide support to colleagues when required
